In conjunction with National Intellectual Property Day 2009, the Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia (MyIPO) will be conferring the National Intellectual Property Award (AHIN) as recognition for inventors/creators on the contribution of their intellectual property to the country’s socio-economic development.
The four (4) categories of awards are as follows:
Organization Category
- Prize: RM30,000, Trophy & Certificate of Appreciation
Individual Category (Patent)
- Prize: RM10,000, Trophy & Certificate of Appreciation;
- 2 Consolation Prizes: RM2,000
Individual Category (Trademark)
- Prize: RM10,000, Trophy & Certificate of Appreciation;
- 2 Consolation Prizes: RM2,000
Individual Category (Industrial Design)
- Prize: RM10,000, Trophy & Certificate of Appreciation;
- 2 Consolation Prizes: RM2,000
